The Property Brothers Team Up with MarKraft Cabinetry’s Edwards Brothers

WILMINGTON, NC / ACCESSWIRE / January 9, 2019 / From the Wright Brothers to the McDonald Brothers to the Disney Brothers, history has shown us that when brothers team up in business, great things can happen. On the national home improvement stage, The Property Brothers are one such team. Drew, a real estate expert, and his brother, Jonathan Scott, a licensed contractor, are the stars of the hugely successful HGTV reality show franchise. They recently filmed a series of home renovations in Nashville, TN featuring kitchens and baths by local cabinet company, Markraft cabinets.

Markraft now boasts its own pair of brothers who enjoy regional fame in the cabinetry industry. In September 2018, Cee Edwards, President of Markraft Cabinets, which is headquartered in Wilmington, NC, named Chris Edwards the Executive Director of Apex Cabinets, a division of Markraft, located in Apex, NC.

Both Cee and Chris have spent their entire careers in the cabinetry industry. Cee has worked for Markraft since college; Chris also started his career at Markraft, and then spent a couple of decades working the dealer channel of the cabinetry industry as a corporate employee and, later, as head of an independent rep agency for companies like MasterBrand and UltraCraft. Both Cee and Chris Edwards have extensive experience spanning large, high volume territories across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Markraft currently has locations in Wilmington, NC, Apex, NC, Hilton Head, SC, and Nashville TN. Together, they are poised to lead the company to its next level of success. And that strategy includes increased media exposure.

Markraft’s Nashville location was contacted by HGTV when the Scott brothers decided to film episodes of their show, Buying and Selling, in Tennessee. MarKraft provided the kitchens and the bathrooms for two episodes (Season 7: Episode 15 and Episode 18), which first aired in November of 2018. MarKraft employees make a cameo appearance as they deliver the cabinets to be installed, but it is the cabinetry that steals the show. The episodes will air again on Wednesday, January 9th and Saturday, January 26th at 9am on HGTV.
