Many couples struggle to find ways to keep long-term relationships going strong. Because society is so busy with work and numerous other responsibilities, taking relationships for granted is extremely common.

“In a busy and technology-filled world, it makes sense to use that same technology to do something good for our relationships,” explains Tho. “This little tool works to encourage appreciation among romantic partners, reminding them that it just takes little actions to show and grow their love. The app serves as a place for couples to express their appreciation and gratitude for their partner’s thoughtful actions and gestures.”

In the app, every couple has a personal
storyboard, allowing partners to look back on past events and remember how their partner has shown appreciation, likely encouraging a loving deed in return.

In addition, partners can show gratitude by rewarding “treats.” These treats can be spent on activities each person enjoys, with every couple setting what the rewards ultimately lead to. The app can be used to plan special dates and send gifts. The Treat App is a simple tool that can make a world of difference in maintaining the health of a long-term relationship.

Adds Tho, “Everyone likes to feel appreciated. Our mission is simple: to encourage couples to show appreciation for one another and to be appreciated in their relationship.”

To help pay for the app’s development, design, user experience, marketing, public relations and advertising, Tho launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. There, he hopes to raise $100,000 through crowdfunding.

“The impact of The Treat App is limitless. Everyone can relate to this product. Because there are couples everywhere, there are no boundaries,” explains Tho.
