TKS Design Group announces its official new name and launches a brand new website

For TKS Design Group, formerly known as The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn, the year 2023 starts with an exciting development. After opening two new locations, one in Naples, FL, and one in Chicago, IL, the company has just launched a new website and officially announced its new name: TKS Design Group.

The company, founded and operated by Jeff and Susan Klimala, has come a long way since its inception. What started as a small husband-wife owned design studio in the Chicago Suburbs is now a thriving full-service design and remodeling firm with three locations: two in Illinois and one in Florida.

TKS Design Group’s CEO and Creative Director and Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer Mrs. Klimala explained: “The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn started out as a small cabinet dealership and evolved into a design-build remodeling company specializing in kitchen and bath remodeling. Eventually clients started asking us to do neighboring spaces such as dining rooms, primary bedrooms and other rooms in their homes, and we were up for the challenge!”

“Our new name TKS Design Group reflects this evolution. We are now a full service interior design and remodeling firm and work with our clients on all their remodeling and furnishing needs in every room of the home”, said Mrs. Klimala.

She added: “A few years ago, clients started asking us to help with areas outside of the kitchen and bath and we were up for the challenge. Over time this work has evolved into a larger part of our business so we felt like the timing was right to change our name to reflect that shift. We are excited to be working on kitchen, baths and design and furnishings for every room in the home!”
