COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo – July 20, 2016 /MarketersMedia/

TurningPoint Medical Group co-owner and physical therapist Markus Ernst will participate in the 2016 Pikes Peak Challenge in support of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, the clinic reported. As a leading provider of physical therapy, and through the associated CBP Brain Centers, TurningPoint Medical Group regularly works with Coloradans who have suffered strokes, concussions and other brain injuries.

The non-profit Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado provides information and services that contribute to faster, more successful recoveries and will receive the pledges Ernst and other participants collect for the 2016 Pikes Peak Challenge. Over the course of the hike on September 10, TurningPoint co-owner Ernst will climb over 7,400 vertical feet to reach the 14,100-foot summit. The annual Pikes Peak Challenge has been the headline fundraising event for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado for over three decades.

“I’m proud and happy to report that I’ll be taking part in the upcoming Pikes Peak Challenge on September 10,” Ernst reported, “Helping people with brain injuries get back to living life fully is an important part of what we do here at TurningPoint Medical Group. It’s therefore a real honor to be able to support the great work that the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado does for so many. I know the Challenge will live up to its name, but it’ll be nothing compared to what the average survivor of a brain injury faces. We hope for a safe, successful event for all and some record-setting fundraising for the truly worthy Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado.”

Over 500,000 people living in Colorado today suffer from the lingering effects of brain injuries. With more than 5,000 being hospitalized in the state for new brain injuries in the average year, ensuring the fullest, fastest possible recovery for each has rightfully become a top public-policy priority.

Through its CBP Brain Centers arm and with its own services, TurningPoint Medical Group regularly contributes in direct, valuable ways to the such important outcomes. From providing recovery-enhancing brain stimulation to helping brain injury survivors with physical therapy and other services, TurningPoint Medical Group takes seriously the responsibility of fighting against a large and growing public-health problem.

In participating in the 2016 Pikes Peak Challenge, TurningPoint Medical Group co-owner Ernst will add another dimension to the clinic’s commitment to this cause. In addition to providing much-needed physical and other therapy to brain injury survivors and others, TurningPoint Medical Group also offers a multidisciplinary range of other services, including chiropractic, massage therapy, and more. Those interested in learning more can do so at the TurningPoint Medical Group website, and all are invited to sponsor Ernst’s upcoming summit hike at the official Pikes Peak Challenge site.
