Uptown Jungle Releases a New Mascot

San Diego, CA, United States – July 4, 2022 —

The silly, fun-loving mascot Uppie is the latest addition to the Uptown Jungle family, a beloved San Diego-based chain of indoor, family-friendly fun parks. Uppie was officially introduced on June 8, 2022. It is the company’s way to put a face to the brand, but also to more fully engage their excited visitors and create lasting memories.

Uppie is an ambassador of fun ready to take the visitors’ experience at all Uptown Jungle locations to the next level. The indoor park is Uppie’s home that he created as a place to get together with his friends and have a blast. Uppie is curious and excited to make his visitors feel welcome and to have an exceptional time at Uptown Jungle. His child-like demeanor and silly personality makes him very approachable and relatable to kids of all ages.

Uptown Jungle company president, Brad Collins, discusses the significance of Uppie: “We have always wanted and talked about having a mascot at Uptown Jungle Fun Park. But not just any mascot. We wanted our mascot to connect with children and to have meaning. We wanted to create a connection. Uppie represents a friendly character that connects to children in every way. Uppie has a friendly nature, is curious, tries his best but makes mistakes, and loves to have fun. Our hope is that Uppie becomes the driver for children wanting to come to Uptown Jungle.”

Due to the media content associated with the mascot, Uppie will also serve an inspirational, educational purpose for kids at home. Kids will not need to visit the park in person to connect with Uppie, and it’s all thanks to Uppie’s new educational YouTube series for kids.

Collins explains the idea behind the YouTube channel: “The YouTube channel, Uppie at Uptown, plays a large role in creating a connection with children. It is entertaining, educational, and acts as an extension of the fun park experience. There is a lot of garbage content on the internet, even if it is safe for children. So we created something that is beneficial for children, while also not annoying or concerning for parents. We are excited for this to be accessible for children all over the world.”
