US Peptides Discusses MFG for Research Purposes

The Mystery of Mechano Growth Factor. US Peptides discusses this research peptide in depth.

Largo, USA – August 14, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

US Peptides is a top US based source for research peptides, one of the peptides carried is Mechano Growth Factor also know as MFG.

In its natural form, Mechano Growth Factor (MGF), an anabolic or splice variant from the insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) family, is signaled by damaged muscle tissue to be released from the liver. It has a key role in muscle repair and growth. By activating muscle stem cells and increasing the upregulation of protein synthesis,* MGF improves recovery and stimulates increased muscle mass. Though manufactured by the body, aging, or senescence, is known to inhibit the amount of MGF that is produced, resulting in decreasing agility and progressively slower recovery time from exercise. Also, if cells are not repaired, muscles diminish in size and strength and cells die.

With synthetic MGF injections, stem cells in the muscle tissue are replenished—produced as a “pulse” when damage occurs. MGF is said to increase the pulse and expedite recovery. Muscle tissue cells are increased by stimulating satellite cells into full maturity.**

Synthetic MGF is sometimes used to help reverse muscle wasting (sarcopenia) diseases including Muscular Dystrophy, and for the elderly. Studies also show that MGF can be instrumental in helping to replace lost proteins in the elderly, improving liver, pancreas and kidney function, as well as skeletal adjoining muscles. A New Zealand study of MGF administered following myocardial infarction indicated it may result in a reduction in the loss of cardiac function at that time, due to a reduction in muscle loss because of cell death (aptosis).

Caveats: Synthetic MGF has a limited half-life: about 5 to 7 minutes when injected. Research varies widely in its administration, with some reports suggesting it be used immediately post-workout, and others cautioning to use it only on rest days. Some posit it is believed not to work if muscle tissue is in its repair stages, which happens for about 12-15 hours post-exercise. This is because during workouts, to some degree of natural MGF is released from the liver. Adding an injection can, according these studies, attenuate rather than enhance the effects of the natural MGF. Others believe it will augment what is naturally being produced.

As a whole proponents say MGF that is pegylated, which is the addition of FDA-approved non-toxic polyethylene glycol (a protein molecule), to produce PEG MGF, is more effective, as it can last in the body for several days—more time to do its job.

Freeze dried vials will remain potent at room temperature for 1 to 2 months but should be refrigerated if reserved for anything longer (up to 18 months). Suggested use is four weeks on and four weeks off, as results reach a saturation point in the body. Occasional hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) has been observed as a side effect, rectified by consuming carbs post-injection. Some users have reported strong “pump” effects in the muscle which can impede high repetitions.
