V-Log Hires New Senior Sales Representative

July 27, 2015 – – ISSAQUAH, WA – V-Log, LLC announced today that Jerry Buccola has joined the firm to introduce a revolutionary solution to help aircraft owners and aviation professionals retain more of the value of their aircraft. Jerry Buccola comes with a wealth of experience in retail sales and within the aviation industry. Building on a career of sales successes, he was drawn to V-Log by the innovative nature of the product.

Jerry joins V-Log as Senior Sales Representative to provide personal attention to educating customers about the risks of the traditional methods of aircraft records management. “Up to 30% of an aircraft’s value depends on the content and condition of the aircraft records, and yet many companies leave their aircraft records incomplete, out of date, or in the hands of third-party providers,” he said.

“Disaster Recovery Planning and DRP are standard practice in many industries. Most of us back up our personal and business documents, and even our movies and music. And yet our aircraft recordkeeping tends to be incomplete and out of control of the aircraft owner.”

Larry Hinebaugh, Founder of V-Log said, “Jerry’s wealth of experience and enthusiasm has already made him a key addition to the V-Log family. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to bring the best solutions to aircraft owners. This is an important product in an industry where trust is a key factor. This led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service, and it is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Jerry’s caliber to fulfill this role.”

About V-Log

V-Log was founded to solve three problems:

Logbooks are vital to understanding the health, history and airworthiness of an aircraft, and are required by CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 14, Part 43 Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Alteration. There are very real financial and practical ramifications for aircraft owners when logbooks are not kept properly. The type and condition of logbooks varies from thorough and well organized, to utterly horrific with the information unorganized, unreadable or missing altogether.

V-Log Aircraft Digital Logbooks (ADL) is a management tool specifically built by and for the aviation community. V-Log provides done-for-you or do-it-yourself scanning options and provides asset protection, records security, and ease of use.

While maintenance tracking programs tend to be fragmented, are owned by various maintenance companies (not the aircraft owner) and can only be searched one document at a time; owners and operators have online access to their entire aircraft record and can search the entire aircraft history with a single query.

A V-Log ADL can be used to comply with FAA requirements for digital signatures for owners that choose to maintain completely online records, or to recreate a complete new paper “document of record” if the need arises.
