Vader’s Fist, the 501st Legion To Attend Car Con 2015 in Tucson, Arizona

May 29, 2015 – – Tucson, Arizona: Vader’s Fist, the 501st Legion, will be appearing at the 1st annual Car Con 2015 on September 26-27, 2015 at the Tucson Expo Center at 3750 E. Irvington in Tucson, Arizona. Heavily involved in charitable work throughout the world, the 501st is showing its support for the multiple charities that the Car Con has joined with.

According to the 501st Legion Charity website: Each year the 501st Legion members volunteer their time to attend a number of charity related events. In 2013 Legion members helped to raise $262,328 through our own fundraising efforts, attended events that helped to raise over $32 Million Dollars for charity.

“Casa De Los Ninos, Southern Arizona Community Food Bank, Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson, and South Tucson Police Explorers are all receiving donations from this event,” says Gilbert Ybarra, Co-Founder and Co-Promoter of Car Con 2015. “Car Con is the combination of a major car show and a Comic Con.” Many well-known “star” cars, from TV, movies and comics will be appearing at the two-day event.

Registration for all cars to be entered, as well as all ticket purchasing will be done via the Car Con 2015 Yapsody page – beginning on June 1, 2015.

Says Gilbert Ybarra, “I and my partners are thrilled to be working with the 501st as they continue to donate their valuable time and resources toward charity.” According to starwars.com news, stormtroopers are to “enforce Imperial law from Bespin to Comic-Con!”
