Vecaro New 8.5” UL Certified Hoverboards Are Now Available For Purchase

The long awaited 8.5” wheel hoverboard model by Vecaro has finally hit their online store, selling out faster than expected.

The two new models are the Trek-X and the Drift-X. The Trek-X features wheels that bear a striking resemblance to those of wheels of monster trucks. This is so that they will function and be able to be used off-road, in dirt, snow, or even some small rocks. The Drift-X utilizes very similar features and formatting to the Trek-X while the primary difference is slicker tires similar to those used in street racing, these tires are coupled with attractive rims to catch the eye, and the combination makes for a very attractive hoverboard.
A spokesperson for Vecaro explains, “These hoverboards have been in huge demand from our customers ever since we first announced them a couple months ago. Unlike some other brands we have seen or have similar models we at Vecaro wanted to make sure that they were UL certified before we brought them into the US to sell to our fantastic customers. This took a little longer than we were hoping because UL did not have a certification for 8.5” boards at first but now that everything has cleared we are super excited to finally be able to offer these models.”
The Trek-X is available in a grey based camouflage color scheme while the Drift-X will be available in a sleek glossy red. Both of them will come with Bluetooth that can be used to connect to the Vecaro ride control app (which is available for download on both iTunes and the Google Play store), front LED lights and, rear blinkers to signal which way you are going to turn.
One of the new features that are available on these models is auto-balancing. This means that when you turn on the board with this feature enabled it will balance itself making it easier for you to step on and off of the board. Auto-balancing makes it extremely easy for people of all ages to be able to use these wonderful products. They still recommend that you wear a helmet for your safety but you unless you hit a rock or a bump and lose your balance it makes it almost impossible to fall when just stepping on or off the board.
