The product was designed to provide long-term monitoring of excessive acceleration in any direction and the data recorded provide a history of excessive impacts. This information is used to verify safe journeys in dispute resolutions or for providing peace of mind prior to commissioning or long-term storage of sensitive equipment.

The gSentinel is available to rent or to purchase. Product features including a battery life that exceeds one year, an operational temperature range between -40 degrees to +80 degrees Celsius, a threshold point between 1g and 20g, the ability to measure acceleration of the unit in all directions, and the ability to maintain accurate time and date with communication via USB.

An alarm display feature is included if set point has been exceeded, and its capable of recording several thousand events where the set point has been exceeded. The gSentinel was designed for rotating equipment, but works for transporting or storing any type of sensitive equipment.
