Viscount Systems Reports Form 15 Filing with the SEC
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / November 4, 2016 / Viscount Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: VSYS) (“Viscount” or the “Company”) announced today that the Company has voluntarily filed a Form 15 – Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration Under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or Suspension of Duty to File Reports Under Sections 13 and 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) pursuant to which the Company will deregister its common stock and suspend its reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Termination of the Company’s registration will become effective 90 days after October 4, 2016 or within such shorter time as determined by the SEC.
Management of the Company believes that the Company will benefit from the reduction in the direct and indirect costs associated with the preparation and filing of periodic reports with the SEC.
The Company’s common stock will continue to be listed on the OTC Pink Market.
