Voice Coach to the Stars, Arthur Samuel Joseph, Releases Hollywood Vocal Secrets to the Public

Hollywood, CA – Famed vocal trainer and Communications Strategist, Arthur Samuel Joseph, consultant to Tony Robbins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Angelina Jolie and many other superstar actors, broadcasters, athletes, and business leaders, has created The Visceral Language course, a part of Vocal Awareness voice lessons online, a consumer voice training course available to the public for the first time. It includes the same proprietary techniques and strategies he has previously only shared privately with Hollywood Celebs as they prepare a part; for corporate leaders honing keynote addresses and superstar athletes preparing for public events.

Perhaps the biggest surprise about the Vocal Awareness Method is that Arthur is not teaching acting skills. He discourages ‘acting’ or ‘presenting’ oneself. Rather, Arthur encourages what he calls ‘embodiment’—enabling his students to “be themselves” to the fullest extent possible, without the unconscious fears and bad habits that can disrupt or weaken a typical speech or presentation. “The goal is not to make you into someone you are not, but to bring out whom you are capable of being,” says Arthur.

As described in articles published in ESPN and Entrepreneur Magazines and the Wall Street Journal, Arthur has trained many Hall of Fame athletes and Olympic Gold Medalists. With Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith he wrote their NFL Hall of Fame acceptance speeches and helped them claim their greatness. (In addition, both Michael and Emmitt’s speeches, though 22 and 28 minutes long, were fully memorized.)

Arthur’s original technique called Visceral Language is a unique method that “makes voice visual.” Through annotation of important words and phrases highlighting breathing, vocal exercises, and other critical storytelling elements within a given presentation (similar to how a musician reads music), words and ideas visually come alive.

The Visceral Language technique is meant to enable students as Arthur says, “To see everything they say on the virtual computer screen in their mind’s eye.” Once the technique is learned, it applies in extemporaneous conversation as well. If it works for Hollywood and Broadway performers, in corporate boardrooms and on news and sports broadcasts around the country, Arthur knows it will work for the general public as well. “My mission is to change the world through Voice and to that end, it is time that everyone had access to these integrative methods.”
