While the technology to simulate conversation with a computer isn’t new, bots and their myriad uses are increasingly moving beyond the IT department and into business strategy meetings. Tech giants and challengers alike are refining bot technology to better serve both internal and external users.

The Injio intranet bot will help overcome some of the challenges users experience when searching for content within SharePoint. People often expect SharePoint search to work like a search engine but high levels of content redundancy and poor metadata population can mean SharePoint has to wade through a lot of material to try and deliver the content users are looking for.
To search their company’s resources using InjioBot, the user will start a conversation simply by saying ‘Hello Injio’ and typing in a query. The bot will then take the user’s question expressed in natural language and generate accurate SharePoint queries to produce more relevant results.
