PISCATAWAY, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / April 28, 2015 / Mobile Broadcasting Corp., the subsidiary of Mobile Broadcasting Holding, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MBHC), announced that it will interview Leonard A. Marshall, Jr., in conjunction with the long-awaited official release of the Whirld app later today. Author Brian K. Hemphill, and COO of Mobile Broadcasting Corp., will conduct the interview of the three-time Pro Bowler on Whirld’s newest program Lifestyles Journal, a program that explores New York City life and those who impact it. The Whirld Network will broadcast the program at 5:00pm EST.

“We’re excited to be finally launching the Whirld app to the public,” stated MBHC CEO Kenneth D. Bland. “We think celebrating the launch of the Whirld app by interviewing a two-time Super Bowl champion of the caliber of Leonard Marshall is a smart way to mark this special occasion. We believe that many of our viewers will find the interview engaging and inspirational.”

Leonard Marshall is a former defensive lineman who played twelve seasons in the National Football League. Mr. Marshall played defensive end for the New York Giants for ten seasons, then played a season each as a defensive tackle for the New York Jets and Washington Redskins. Mr. Marshall’s post-football career activities included teaching at Seton Hall University in 2004 where he obtained his MBA in Business and his Certification in Management. He also founded Pro Star Athletics, one of the largest sports licensed apparel manufacturing companies in the 1990’s. As an author, Mr. Marshall recently completed a book, When the Cheering Stops, with CBSsports.com writer William Bendetson about the 1990 season and Super Bowl XXV.

“I’m both humbled and honored to be interviewing the great Leonard Marshall on our Lifestyles Journal program” stated Mr. Brian Hemphill, MBC’s Chief Operating Officer. “Lifestyles Journal provides a platform that enables us to interview the many great personalities that have shaped and continue to shape New York City, one of the greatest cities in the world. Leonard has played 11 of his 12 professional seasons with the New York Giants and the Jets. How much more of a positive New York story can you ask for, and what a great way to launch the Whirld app.”
