GSME – Trader Electrical Supplies is celebrating their 10th Anniversary, which commemorates 10 exciting and incredibly rewarding years in business. This is a huge milestone for the Adelaide, South Australia-based wholesale electrical supplier business, which has provided wholesale electrical supplies to stockists and electricians since 2007.

Trader got it’s start in 2007 when founder Mr Gerard saw the need for quality Electrical supplies around Adelaide and Australia.

One of the earliest challenges Trader faced was brand awareness in such a competitive marketplace.

While every business of course faces challenges, some, like Trader are fortunate enough to enjoy real successes, wins and victories too. One such victory came when when they were able to provide electrical supplies to a large construction project, primarily they supplied electrical sockets, universal dimmers and switches.

Mr Gerard, Owner at Trader was also quoted when discussing another big win. “One of the high points of Trader’s history was when we were featured in a large industry magazine. The article showcased our products and their applications, this was hugely beneficial to our brand awareness and reaching more customers.
