The White-tailed Deer Management and Research Facility Institute will host Dr. Deer’s 17th Annual Whitetail World Field Day.

During the event, there will be hands-on and expansive demonstrations spanning all things wildlife property management, including the creation and management of a deer orchard, doing trail camera surveys, planning landscaping by drone imagery, clearing brush and invasive plants to give new opportunities to native fauna, developing soft edges and other habitats for deer, and much much more. Further, the teams at Wildtree, Sendero Seed, and Buck Forage Oats will be on hand to help each participant pick ideal plants and habitats customized to fit the property they own.

Prior to open registration, interested participants can enter to win one of two VIP registration passes to this year’s Field Day. The winners for the VIP experience will be announced on Jan 31, 2022. They will enjoy hotel accommodations for one night near the event, receive Wildtree and Buck Forage Products and Swag, and lastly, a VIP cajun dinner the night before the event where they get a visit with Dr. Deer and the Buck Forage and Wildtree.

There will be 75 tickets available for the event that will take place on March 12, 2022, and ticket sales begin February 1st. The committee will apply all precautious to make this a safe event in the wake of COVID, and participants are required to temperature check and wear facemasks.
