World’s First CCIE Family to Open Doors for Fellow Lankan CCIE Aspirants

Led by hexa CCIE Harith Kariapper, the world’s first CCIE family also comprises of his son double CCIE Rizni and wife Roshana and the entire family is looking forward to open Cisco Training Institute for fellow Lankan IT professionals

Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England – 25th FEB, 2016 – World’s first CCIE family has recently announced its noble mission to launch Cisco Training Institute for fellow Lankan IT professionals. Presently based in UK, the accomplished Sri Lankan family is led by hexa CCIE Harith Kariapper, who has been duly followed by his son Rizni and wife Roshana.

While junior Kariapper is a double CCIE & the youngest to achieve the esteemed certification in the world at a mere age of 18- his mother has just completed the arduous 8-hour lab exam in January this year to complete the cycle. It’s something rare with a 47-year-old mom of 3!

In the words of IT pundits, it’s an incredible accomplishment to attain a CCIE accreditation.

At present, CCIE R/S 8-hour-long lab test comprises of troubleshooting for 2 hours, 30 minutes diagnostic & a tedious configuration exam spanning across 5 & half hours. To pass, the candidate would have to exceed or at least meet the minimum marks on each module & also his total score should meet the net cut off of the lab exam. Furthermore, he has to make his first attempt just within 18 months of passing the 2-hour written test. He might need to reappear for the written test in case he fails at the lab exam within 3 years of passing on the written one.

“It takes a lot more than the same 2-hour written & 8-hour lab tests over & over again to attain a Hexa or double or a single CCIE certification,” remarked Harith Kariapper, CEO at WinNet Systems.

To assure unmatched program quality & relevance value in the IT sector, CCIE is continuously updating & revising its testing methodologies & tools. A CCIE could specialize in a wide array of fields such Service Provider, Routing & Switching, Call Collaboration, Data Center & wireless as well as Security.

Despite a struggling beginning and the loss of his parents by the time he turned 21, Harith was determined to make it big in the world. With supportive siblings by his side, he managed to graduate with elan from University of Peradeniya which led the way for his illustrious IT career spanning across 25+ years. He was endowed with the opportunities of designing & training networks for world-renowned names such as the Bank of America, Cisco Gold partners FlexITy & Managed 24/7. Currently, Harith designs Cisco programs & conducts all related boot camps as the Master Instructor at WinNET Systems (UK) – where he has shaped over thousand CCIEs.

The junior Kariapper was always determined to succeed in CCIE exams from the age of 15. He even passed the grueling 8-hour-long lab test on his very first attempt. The highly talented youngster is presently serving as Senior Consultant for Central Bank of Europe (Germany), backed by his lustrous experience of handling senior designations at world-famous MNCs such as TELUS Communication, Accenture & Managed 24/7.

The loyal Lankan that he is, Harith has always worked on upliftment of the fellow country-men since the inception of his career through “MYOWN Computer Systems” that launched training centers in all the 9 provinces of the Asian country. He is also known to pioneer computer education for Lankan villages. Although the Civil War in the country forced him to abandon his projects, yet the world’s first CCIE family is now showing hopes to advance his fellow country-folks through its Cisco training.

They also have plans to launch a consulting agency in Sri Lanka with Managed 24/7 partnership to operate with companies worldwide.
