Updated Pocket Organizing System Added To First Aid Shoppe’s Emergency Preparedness Kit

March 18, 2016 – – The ResQue1st Emergency Preparedness First Aid Kit and Survival Gear Bug Out Bag contains 201 first aid or first aid related items. They are organized in what is called an Easy Access Pocket System. The pocket system makes the kit much faster and easier to use in an emergency. This unique system acts to keep everything organized, even after repeated use. All items can be easily found, by category, and once the emergency is over they can be returned to the organizational pocket system.

The full kit uses the Easy Access Pocket System to organize all items for quick access. It is a dual-use kit, with items intended for both first aid and survival. On the survival side it contains items such as an emergency poncho, an emergency blanket, a light stick, a radio with headphones and a flashlight, along with batteries and other items. On the first aid side there are bandages, CPR breathing barriers, splints, eye wash, aspirin, scissors and many other items. Each item or set of items is stowed in its own pouch, clearly labeled.

“In case of an emergency requiring first aid, you simply open your kit, then fold out the clearly labeled pockets,” says Ms. Loehwing. “Then, at a glance you choose and open the pockets with the items you need for the emergency at hand.” The kit comes with other useful items. A radio is included, along with an emergency blanket, a light stick, and batteries.
