The Profits from TableFest will be Donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 28, 2017 / Michael Moscato is pleased to announce that TableFest, a charitable tabletop convention by ASoC, has officially been scheduled. The 3-day convention, which will take place from September 22-24, 2017 in Dayton, Ohio, will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

As a spokesperson for TableFest noted, the upcoming convention will feature 24/7 gaming for three fun-filled days. A freeplay gaming room will be full of various tabletop games for anyone to enjoy with friends or others at the convention. The organized gaming room will allow people to request timeslots ahead of time for games like Pathfinder, and will also be first-come-first-served for games like Magic: the Gathering.

For fans of video games, a room that is full of consoles and arcades will keep them happily busy for hours.

Moscato and the rest of the team from TableFest are made up of key members of the ASoC who are experienced in hosting conventions. The group was inspired to host an event that would not only give people the chance to enjoy a wide selection of games for three days, but also raise money for a worthy cause.

“The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a charity organization that provides support to United States military personnel and their families,” the spokesperson noted, adding that they focus on traumatic brain injuries and PTSD in soldiers and their families.

In order to help pay for even more tabletop games for the freeplay room, and offer panels with panelists for attendees to enjoy, Moscato and his team recently launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. There, they hope to raise $8,000 through crowdfunding.

“We want to be able to rent some more unique tabletop games from a tabletop gaming library in order to bring a more varied and better experience to our attendees,” Moscato said.
