Website On The The City Of London Launched

July 27, 2017 – – A website that provides various kinds of information on the city of London has been launched. Unlike other websites of its kind, which look specifically at issues such as fashion, royalty, or tourism, the site covers it all, from football news to celebrity gossip.

A representative for the website says: “London is famous the world over for so many different things. Some people come to the city for its amazing history, for its culture, or for its many art galleries and museums. Others are interested all about the royal family. Other people are into sports. The city truly has it all, and we wanted to make sure we had a website that appropriately demonstrated that.”

Those who have an interest in sport, for instance, will be fascinated by the sites of the 2012 London Summer Olympics, the Millennium Dome, and the many famous London football clubs (British people call soccer “football”), including Arsenal, West Ham, and Chelsea. In the United Kingdom, football stars are treated like celebrities, and the London X City site certainly addresses this on their new website as well.

Celebrity news on the site includes who’s hot and who’s not, who’s dating who, who’s wearing what, and more. Indeed, celebrity fashion is incredibly important, not in the least because London is also a global fashion capital. The representative adds: “Everything in London is interconnected. Athletes are celebrities, celebrities are fashion icons, fashion houses can be visited in London, including by the Royal Family, and so on. This is why we didn’t want to focus on just one element with our new website.”

As part of the new website, which can be accessed through https://www.londonxcity.com, a social media campaign has also been launched. This includes accounts with popular channels, such as Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest. People are encouraged to like or follow those pages, so that they are always first to know about any new developments relating to London, or to share information they have themselves. “We want to build a community of London-philes,” ends the representative. “Anyone who loves the city, regardless of where they’re from, is welcome to join.”
