Comfable Launches New Sun Protection Device

QSun will allow Kickstarter backers to monitor their sun exposure and vitamin D intake, to avoid both sunburns and deficiencies

Toronto, Canada – March 7, 2018 /FundedToday/

Just over a year after their first successful Kickstarter campaign, Comfable has just introduced its new and improved sun protection device. Named QSun, it is available now for pre-order, and is expected to ship by July of 2018.

QSun is a small, U.S. quarter-sized device that can be easily attached to the user’s clothing. As the user is exposed to sunlight while venturing outside, receptors collect information about the received sunlight and UV light exposure. It then calculates how close the user is to getting a sunburn, and warns ahead of time so the user can apply sunscreen or retreat indoors.

QSun also uses the information it gathers to determine whether the user is at risk of Vitamin D deficiency. All information is available in a comprehensive companion app that is already helping thousands of people worldwide make good decisions about their sun exposure.

Those interested in learning more about QSun should visit their Kickstarter project page here. In its earliest pre-order stage, one QSun costs $45 USD.
