The Decatur Sharks, a NEW Pro Developmental Football Team, provides an opportunity for football players, coaches, and other personnel to develop their talents and reach the professional level in the AFL, CFL, and NFL. The organization is a charter member of the American South Football Alliance (ASFA).

The Decatur Sharks, Semi Pro Football in Atlanta, is currently seeking players who want to accomplish greatness in the world of football and have the drive and passion to achieve their goals. The organization promises to serve two types of players – those who are seeking to improve their game and rise to a professional level as well as those who simply want to play for love of the game.

As a charter member of the American South Football Alliance, the Decatur Sharks are part of a community driven, semi-pro developmental football organization made up of 12 teams from nine southern states. The teams will feature players aged 18 to 35, seeking to gain experience to rise to the professional level while volunteering their time in support of the organization’ community driven programs.

“We are looking for role models on and off the field in the form of coaches, players 18 and older with early registration open until October 20 for players of all positions, skill levels, and experience. We also care about the quality of individuals who participate on our team and in this League. To that end, Players sign a “Players Code of Conduct Agreement” guiding their conduct not only on the field, but off it as well. Of course, the Decatur Sharks are also looking for fans, we offer a family friendly environment, at an affordable price, for fans of all ages.” – Decatur Sharks
