Calgary Daycare Announces Immediate Openings

June 24, 2019 – – 2000 Days Pre-Kindergarten, a daycare in Calgary, Alberta, has announced that they have immediate openings in their childcare facility with summer programs in place. The daycare teaches a curriculum that helps children to be better prepared for entering into kindergarten.

Daniel Kepka, a representative for the daycare says, “We have immediate openings for children who are looking for summer or fall enrollment. Our summer programs are currently underway, and these programs offer a wealth of fun and learning opportunities for children. Kepka says that the daycare provides security with a fenced in building and indoor play area. The facility’s 700 square foot gym area allows for children to play actively even when it is too hot outdoors or raining. Kepka adds that the facility goes further than simply providing a place for children to be watched while their parents work.

“We provide learning programs that help to foster a love of learning in our children,” Kepka says. “Children who are enrolled into a pre-k program prior to starting kindergarten are much more prepared to handle the school atmosphere. Our goal is to help prepare children for their years in elementary school and to enable them to have fun at the same time.

Kepka says that the daycare Calgary has a few spots open at the moment, but he did not elaborate on how many spots are available. He did urge parents who are interested to contact the facility soon as these spots tend to fill up quickly.

Pre-kindergarten programs have proven so popular and useful that many schools in the United States now offer them for children who will be entering into kindergarten within a year. Children in these programs typically learn how to count, recognition of numbers and letters, colors, and some may even be able to read when they exit the program and enter into kindergarten.

Activities at the daycare include Playball, which is a professional sports program that has been designed to teach students how to throw and kick a ball to stay active. Kindermusik is another program that is offered at the daycare facility. This program teaches children about music and how to play a number of different musical instruments. Jolly Phonics, yoga and dance programs are also part of the summer program list offered at the facility.

Kepka states that each child’s enrollment includes all of the planned activities and curriculum, as well as meals which are prepared by a chef that is on staff at the school. The daycare is a family owned and operated facility that helps to prepare children for their kindergarten year with a curriculum that is designed to nurture and teach children from the ages of one through five.

In addition to their curriculum, the facility offers a 5,000 square foot building and more than 2,000 square feet of outdoor play room for children to stay active. The outdoor area is split into two sections. One section is covered in grass for outdoor play while the other is asphalt that helps with various sports and other activities. Kepka states that all of their play areas are utilized with their summer programs.
