Digital marketing agency, Aperitif, has grown, newly joined by Tanja Vucic, the team’s new Strategy Director. With a long history of industry experience and talents in establishing and acquiring digital service departments, Vucic is set to join the leadership team at Aperitif.

With more than 14 years of industry experience and a considerable resume delivering successful growth campaigns for the likes of Scanlan Theodore, Windsorsmith and BIC, Vucic brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her new role.

Aperitif, the brain-child of former Airwallex heavyweight Joe Romeo, and his wife, ex-Global E-Commerce Marketing Manager of Frank Body, Isabelle Romeo, continues its projection as an up-and-coming leader in the digital marketing landscape. The Melbourne-based agency has leveraged its family values and flexibility to attract one of the industry’s most respected talents in Vucic.

Before joining Aperitif, Vucic forged a close professional relationship with the Romeos during her 8-year tenure at WME, under Australian entrepreneur and rich-lister Nick Bell. Her trajectory at WME saw a rapid rise through the ranks, eventually leading the client services team as Group Account Director. 

Following Melbourne’s age-of-covid-lockdowns, Vucic made the shift to smaller, locally-owned agencies where she could make a hands-on impact on each business. She was quickly recognised for her success in establishing new digital service departments and managing acquisitions, securing Employee of the Year at NexiGen in 2022. Tanja’s dedication and strategic prowess in her flourishing career caught the attention of Joe and Isabelle, who admired her ability to deliver results with the seasoned confidence of her diverse experience. 

Vucic’s decision to join Aperitif was motivated not only by her desire to shift her focus to strategy but also by her commitment to prioritising her family. As a young Mum to her 10-month-old daughter, Mia, Vucic sought flexibility and autonomy, allowing her to be present for her family while continuing to excel in her field.
