The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade proudly announces the successful hosting of the Invest Maldives Forum 2024 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. President Mohamed Muizzu graced the forum as the guest of honour, alongside key figures such as Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer, and Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim. Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), also attended, marking the event’s significance and the strong bilateral ties between the Maldives and the UAE. President Muizzu shared his vision of ‘Dhivehinge Rajjé’ (Maldivians’ Nation), emphasizing the strategic use of Maldivian resources for national development and the pivotal role of international partnerships in achieving this goal.

Expressing gratitude towards the UAE business community for their pivotal contributions to the Maldives‘ development, President Muizzu highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration.
