Goken Expands its Offshore Technical Center in Pune, India

Goken India opened a new technical center in Baner, Pune, to support global clients and expand its workforce, emphasizing data security and leveraging local engineering talent.

Goken India team recently moved into a new technical center in Pune, India. The technical center is in the heart of a bustling startup hub, Baner which has emerged as a prime location for office and residential spaces alike. The technical center is focused on providing a space for global clients to deliver future products while working with offshore team in a highly secure area. The facility can accommodate the growing workforce with amenities such as access only for authorized employees, 24/7 security, conference rooms, dedicated server rooms, pantry area and terrace garden.

 Goken India has moved into new office in Baner, Pune marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy and providing a new technical center for its India operations. This move underlines Goken’s commitment to growing its India office as one of the global tech center to meet the growing demand from global automakers.

The new technical center will also serve as Goken India headquarters providing ample room for its expanding workforce and supporting the company’s diverse operations. Located in Baner, a prime business area in Pune, it offers convenient access to key amenities and transportation hubs, facilitating seamless business operations.

The decision to lease a sizable office space in Pune shows Goken’s confidence in its development and its commitment to furthering its presence in the Asia region. Goken India plans to leverage Pune’s engineering and software talent while maintaining proximity to other global customers.

The office was inaugurated on 4th December, 2023 by the Goken’s global CEO, Mr. Doug Smith and COO of Goken India, Mr. Swapnil Gawade. The inauguration ceremony was also graced with presence of Goken America’s leaders, Zeyn Kermani and Sri Valluru.

The new headquarters having 4,282 sq ft office workspace, set to not only accommodate the company’s current requirements but also allow for future expansion. The office has two dedicated sections to upkeep a high level of security with the latest infrastructure.

The highly secured section A is set up for engineers working on high level projects having dedicated access cards to key employees to ensure data security. Whereas section B accommodates engineers, technical specialists, and administrative support team. To increase the overall safety security personnel are present 24/7 with camera access and printed records of visitors. The information security is ensured through a dedicated server room with limited access, firewall and site to site connectivity.
