Canadian Biotech company Aereus Technologies is introducing seven new members to its Board of Directors in pursuit of adding to the breadth of experience within its various sectors.

Geoff Browne: Managing Director of private equity firm MWI & Partners, who has held both public and private executive positions within financial institutions for the past 30 years.

Jodi Butts: former Senior Vice-President of Operations and Redevelopment at Mount Sinai Hospital and Executive Director of Rise Asset Development. Ms. Butts has significant board experience including Wellesly Institute, University of Windsor.

Tom Closson: former President and CEO of the Ontario Hospital Association and former President and CEO of Toronto’s University Health Network, Capital Health Regional in Victoria, B.C and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

The Honorable Michael Kirby: serves as Chairman of the partners for Mental Health, member of Canadian Senate (1984-2006) and Chair of the Audit for the Bank of Nova Scotia and Vice-Chair of Accounting Standards Oversight Council.

David MacNaughton: Chair of the Board of StrategyCorp Inc., former Executive Assistant to a federal Cabinet Minister (6yrs), Principal Secretary to the Premier of Ontario (2yrs), and has served on several company Boards including North York General Hospital, Stratford Festival and currently on the Board of Toronto International Film Festival.

John Schram: extensive experience in health care and serves as a Director of several private companies including Wellpoint Health Services Inc, AlphaCare Inc., and Accreditation Canada. Former President and CEO of We Care Health Services LP, and President and CEO of Simon and Schuster’s school companies in New York.

Fred Schwartz: former Senior Director of Business Development at Northland Power Inc., and numerous other executive positions within the energy industry over the past 30 years.
