Isik Innovation has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to produce and manufacture the likeWALK® Hands-Free mechanical wheelchair, an innovation that will provide better mobility to users.

Isik Innovation, the creator of the likeWALK® Hands-Free mechanical wheelchair, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production and distribution of this innovative product. This “rocking-wheelchair” is an active wheelchair driven by the body weight of the user. Utilizing the back muscles, this patented technology allows users to operate a wheelchair hands-free. The seat plate or cup is connected to a rollable rocker mechanism, allowing the user to move the chair using only a slight left-right tilt in the upper body.

According to the creator, “The new mechanical drive technology that does not require hands or arms. With their liberated hands, wheelchair users are able to perform more tasks than before and even to do them at the same time. In other words, what had previously been a challenge can now become an everyday activity whether at work, in the household or at leisure.”
