The Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli has beloved fans waiting in anticipation after he announced that he may showcase some new music at his upcoming Sacramento, CA concert on June 10th.

Bocelli, who has been blind since the age of twelve, says they met twelve years ago at a party and he was struck by her voice and how her skin felt. “I sang my first aria for her that night. It was a piece called “Occhi Di Fata,” which is translated Fairy’s Eyes. The couple moved in together that night and are still very much in love.

As for the upcoming Andrea Bocelli concert show in Sacramento, Bocelli says the repertoire will be, in large part, the one he has always performed, that of the Italian tenor, which has resulted in the composition of so many wonderful melodies. “The first part will be devoted to an exclusively operatic repertoire, then there will be popular “romanzas” and songs that my public expects to hear from my voice.” He also says he will sing with a great orchestra, and will have some very important guests on stage with him. The famous Cuban soprano Maria Aleida will be there, as will the talented violinist Caroline Campbell, and the famous flautist Andrea Griminelli, who is a former collaborator of Luciano Pavarotti.
