Complete Directions For Use Now Printed On Trauma Bandage Packaging

February 11, 2016 – – Anna Loehwing, COO of First Aid Shoppe, suppliers of professional level first aid and survival gear to the general public, announced today that the Advanced Clotting Sponge in their ResQue 1st Emergency Trauma Kit now has complete directions for use on the packaging.

“In any emergency emotions are going to be running high,” says Ms. Loehwing. “Especially in the case of a serious trauma, where major bleeding is an issue. Whether it be you or someone else, you want to stabilize the situation fast, and you may not be very clear-headed during those critical moments. The Advanced Clotting Sponge included in First Aid Shoppe’s ResQue 1st Emergency Trauma Kit uses an advanced hemostatic (clotting) agent to promote the acceleration of clotting at the site of the wound. It is intended to control severe hemorrhage by stimulating natural clotting within minutes of application. The kit also includes other support items, such as gauze, medical tape, antiseptic wipes and non-latex gloves.
