Dynamic Kids Show Support at The ANF Tour de Broward

The Dynamic Kids of Dynamic Orthopedics came out to show great support at the annual fundraising event for the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, it was an amazing and inspiring event for many.

Dynamic Orthopedics of Davie, FL, the leader in prosthetics and orthotics for disabled children recently formed a team “Dynamic Kids” to participate in the 9th annual ANF Tour de Broward for Joe’s Kids. Donations raised for this event goes directly into helping support the patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. This yearly event has proven to be a huge success for raising money to help support the hospital.

As of this writing the campaign fundraising goals of $500k are 99% met, sitting at $499,816. Funds from previous years have supported the hospitals Heart Institute, which provides children with a complete continuum of care from diagnosis to repair of congenital defects. Housed here is the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program, one of only two in all of South Florida. Funding has also gone to support the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Once again Dynamic Orthopedics was proud to be involved in this amazing event. Incorporated into the event was the Jr. Sharks and adult Sharks wheelchair basketball teams. The wheelchair basketball leagues have been a tremendous success for both children and adults alike.

It really helps the kids when they get to spend time with adults who have similar life situations, it helps encourage them to know that it will be ok and it’s great for the kids to know they have so much support from our community.”
