ETIAS looks a brilliant Schengen VISA bypass for Americans Travelling to Europe

Come 2021, every American will require a Schengen Visa upon entering Europe. An ETIAS waiver will reportedly be a viable easy-to-obtain short-term alternative for travelling tourists and professionals.

Notably, Schengen VISAs do not come without plenty of restrictions. Travelers are required to apply directly to the embassy or consulate of any country they intend to visit. Furthermore, the variety of Schengen VISAs reportedly contributes a fair share of complications for many travelers. ETIAS is an electronic system that keeps the record of visitors from countries that do not require a visa to enter Schengen.

It is stated that approval for the ETIAS will take a minimum of minutes and maximum of four days. If granted, the ETIAS would be valid for three years with a permit to stay up to 90 days
