Football Icons Visit KIS International School Reignwood Park to Launch ‘Reignwood Icons of Football’ in March 2025

Global football icons Robbie Fowler, Paul Ince, Dwight Yorke and Patrik Berger visited KIS International School Reignwood Park in Bangkok to launch ‘Reignwood Icons of Football’.

Bangkok, Thailand – September 28, 2024 —

KIS International School Reignwood Park were the hosts of Liverpool and Manchester United former players Robbie Fowler, Paul Ince, Dwight Yorke and Patrik Berger this week, who were in attendance to launch the Reignwood Icons of Football event on March 1st-2nd 2025. 

Located at the stunning Reignwood Park, the home of KIS International School, Icons Series, known for bringing the world’s biggest sporting icons to the golf course, will set the scene for 24 of the most recognisable footballers on the planet to battle it out as Team England and Team World for the 2025 Icons Trophy. 

Allowing fans closer than ever, two teams of 12 captained by two of the most famous golfers in the world, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood, will bring their years of rivalry from pitch to green across a 10 hole format of the highest drama, where every shot counts. 

To launch the event, the four Icons visited the brand new international school that opened its doors in August 2024. A tour from Mr. Parich Ruktapongpisal, Licensee at KIS meant players were able to see the vast amenities and discuss options available to students. Offering an exceptional educational experience across 60 acres of world-class facilities, the campus features a 1,000-seat auditorium, a state-of-the-art sports complex, a Golf Development Academy, and full and weekly boarding opportunities starting from Grade 4. As Bangkok’s only full IB day and boarding school, KIS Reignwood Park provides a comprehensive and immersive learning environment that blends academic excellence with personal development.

The final seven players on each side will be revealed in the build up to the event. Fans are encouraged to pay close attention to the Icons Series social media channels for regular updates.

Set across two days on the championship Robinswood Golf Course, players will be managed by team captains in a series of competitive team matchplay format events, including Alternate Shots, Fourballs and Singles matches to determine the winning team.
