Greydot Introduces Tubix Modular Pill Holder on Kickstarter
London, UK – On April 9 2015, Barcelona based design firm Greydot launched a Kickstarter campaign for Tubix, an all-metal modular pill holder that allows you to stash your drugs or other small items in style.
“Tubix was born out of the frustration of not having a designer piece to store small items like pills, drugs etc. We wanted to create a modular container that could hold your meds for one day, two or a whole week,” the Greydot team says, “Tubix is so easy to clean and completely hygienic, it?s also dishwasher safe and comes with a lifetime guarantee.”
Tubix will be precisely machined from a solid block of aluminum. With a premium quality anodized finish, Tubix promises to be the ideal modular solution for people to store their pills and carry them around. Tubix comes in three colors, silver, gold and black.
Tubix will have an internal diameter of 22mm. This space is adequate to hold up to three medium-sized pills. At the same time, users will be able to fit it comfortably in the palm of their hand. The weight of each of the Tubix device is only five grams. The manufacturer claims that Tubix can also serve as a container for creams, soaps, and shampoo while traveling.
“We already have our working prototype and are completely ready to start production with our trusted supplier already chosen and tested,” the creators explain, “As soon as we complete our Kickstarter goal we can begin production and send off your TUBIX.”
Greydot is currently looking to raise £20,000 on Kickstarter by May 9, 2015. In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one silver Tubix and a lid for £15, a seven piece silver Tubix set with a lid for £33, a gold set for £36, or a black set for £39. Backers can also receive customized and engraved Tubix for £70, and more!
