LED Lighting Systems For Businesses Celebrates One Year Anniversary

August 21, 2015 – – Joule Solar Energy, a renewable technology company based in New Orleans, LA, are proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their LED division. Since having been launched, the company was able to attract over 50 different contracts, generating $1.5 million in sales. One of the reasons they have been able to achieve these results is because all of their staff is well-trained on the mechanics of LED lights. The company also wants to thank their customers for their ongoing support.

Robert Schmidt from Joule Solar Energy says, “We believe in quality, which is why our sales team has to be knowledgeable on all elements of LED. Our triple-bottom-line policy is that knowledgeable staff equals knowledgeable customers, which turns into knowledgeable business decisions.”

All LED lights used by Joule are CREE lights. CREE was founded in 1980 and revolutionized the LED chip that allowed LED light to be used in domestic properties. They are to date one of the only top-to-bottom LED companies in the country and are known to be among the world’s best heat management companies. Their LED lights all come with a 10-year warranty and are based in North Carolina, with their manufacturing plant located in Wisconsin. CREE has won a number of awards for their LED technology.

Joule is a ‘Master Distributor’ for CREE. In the middle of April, seven employees from Joule attended the CREE LED Lighting Center in Durham, NC. This included three senior managers and four members of the sales team. “On arrival at the center, we had dinner with Don Hirsh, the senior manager of the Lighting Experience Center,” says Robert Schmidt. “Then, on the first day, we saw different sites with LED lights, both indoor and outdoor. We learned how CREE field-tests all of their lighting and we got to see the various lighting products and variations they offer. On the second day, we toured the CREE facility and manufacturing plant and we got to see the actual manufacturing process.”

Through the trip, Joule representatives were able to learn more about CREE, their products and manufacturing process overall, further increasing their knowledge and expertise in the field to ensure the continued growth of their LED division.
