Renowned San Diego jeweler continues a series of philanthropic initiatives by announcing $1,000 scholarships they will be awarding quarterly to upcoming and current college students, starting January 2018.

Leo Hamel Fine Jewelry & Engagement Ring Store, a well-known dealer of new and pre-owned fine jewelry based in San Diego, announces a new quarterly scholarship program. The scholarships will be awarded quarterly to upcoming and current college students, starting January 2018. Leo Hamel’s will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to the winning contestants. The winner of the first quarterly award will be announced on January 4, 2018 on the company’s official blog.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the contestants must be graduating seniors in high school or freshmen, sophomores, or juniors in college. The contestants will have to provide proof of their current or future enrollment in college.
Leo Hamel’s reserves the right to verify the date of the contestants’ high school and/or college enrollment. Contestants should be aware that, should they win, their name may be displayed on Leo Hamel’s official website and social media platforms. Leo Hamel’s will be asking for a written permission before displaying any of the names, and will not display the names of the winning contestants without previously obtaining a written permission.
The winner of the first content will be announced on the company’s official website on January 4, 2018, following a random drawing on January 3, 2018. The winner will be notified via email and will receive a check for $1,000 via mail.
To apply for the scholarship, prospective contestants should fill out the form on https://www.leohamel.com/scholarships with truthful and correct information.
Contestants that do not win will be able to apply for the next scholarship.
