Little Sleepy Head Skin Care Line Praised by Rosacea Blogger Rosy JulieBC

Little Sleepy Head designed its products to be gentle enough for babies and young children, but rosacea blogger Rosy JulieBC gave them the thumbs up for her sensitive skin condition, too.

Little Sleepy Head’s Daily Rehydrating Sunscreen, Gentle Hair and Body Wash, and Hydrating Baby Lotion were recently placed in the spotlight when rosacea blogger Rosy JulieBC reviewed them on her blog and in a YouTube video on her channel.

The “I’m a big baby”-themed blog and video listed the various baby products the rosacea blogger uses to help keep her skin condition comfortable and under control. Among the items she reviewed were the three skin care products from the Little Sleepy Head bath care line. She described her experience with each one and shared what she thought of them, concluding that “I’m happy to add a kids line, Little Sleepy Head, to my sunscreen and sensitive skin care favorites.”

The first product Rosy Julie BC – whose real name is Julie B. Campbell, a book series author from Canada – reviewed was the Little Sleepy Head Daily Rehydrating Sunscreen, which she said her skin “tolerated it extremely well. It has no fragrance and is very easy to apply,” adding that “This was a definite find.” The sunscreen is dermatologist tested and is made in the United States. It contains a careful blend of botanicals to protect and hydrate the skin. It’s hypoallergenic, tear-free and does not contain artificial fragrances, phthalates, nano-particles, parabens or PABA.

The second product was the Gentle Hair and Body Wash, which she used exclusively as a body wash, pointing out that it lathered and spread nicely. She also enjoyed the soothing natural smell of the lavender and chamomile ingredients, pointing out that they “provided a beautifully soothing and relaxing bit of aromatherapy to help me combat my typical bouts of insomnia” after nighttime bathing. She underscored that this product effectively washed the sunscreen away at the end of the day. This USA made formula includes fruits such as pear, blueberry, banana, orange, and cucumber, as well as botanicals such as lavender, chamomile, marigold, and aloe vera, oats and vitamins. At the same time, it does not contain colorants, mineral oil, phthalates, paragons, sulfates, petroleum, dyes or fragrances.

The third product was the Hydrating Baby Lotion, for which Rosy Julie BC praised the convenient pump bottle format (and which also applied to the Gentle Hair and Body Wash). She pointed out that with its “oatmeal, aloe, and shea butter, even my super-sensitive, rash-prone skin tolerated this product very well.” This American made product is based on a proprietary blend of oatmeal, aloe and shea butter. It is appropriate for all skin types, including sensitive types, and may be reapplied as often as needed. Its natural fragrance is from the lavender and chamomile it contains. The rest of the formula is made of sunflower seed, avocado and jojoba oils, in addition to blueberry, orange, pear, banana, cucumber, green tea and black tea extracts.
