New Site Launched for Columbia MO Graduate and Professional Housing Properties

Warnken says “The previous version of our website had worked for us for years, but it had gotten a bit tired-looking and harder to keep up to date as technology changed. We also know that many prospective renters do a preliminary search for housing on their smartphones, and our old site was not designed to be mobile-friendly. We’ve also added a banner to make it immediately clear which houses or apartments are leased and which are still available.”

Warnken Properties is a family owned and operated business; they own the property they manage, primarily in the East Campus area of Columbia, Missouri. Their family has been a part of the Columbia and University communities since 1965. The property rental business began when they bought and renovated an East Campus building as a place for their daughters to live while they were at MU. They have kept a focus on acquiring and leasing properties in this part of town because it is within walking distance of the University of Missouri campus. There are 2, 3 and 4-bedroom campus apartments and 3 and 4-bedroom houses.

Two generations are in the business. Denice, a respected real estate professional, handles business operations and tenant relations. MU grad Wendy is Executive Property Manager. MU Professor Emeritus Phil does the marketing and business development.
