New Survey Reveals Top Challenges and Preferences for Photography Businesses

Studio management software provider, Shootq, has published a survey that reveals the challenges faced by professionals in the photography industry, as well as the potential opportunities to address those challenges.

The study reveals that 39% of photographers grapple with scheduling and booking appointments, the most significant challenge identified. Managing finances and expenses troubled 25% of respondents, while 18% each found difficulty with marketing and acquiring new clients and time management.

An impressive 94% of participants expressed a heightened interest in campaigns featuring personalized marketing messages, stressing the significance of a tailored approach in effectively engaging with the photography community.

The survey also noted the preferred social media platforms for business, with respondents leaning towards Instagram (33%), closely followed by Facebook (32%), Twitter (24%), and LinkedIn (11%).
