Southlake, TX, September 26, 2018 – Sonia Kirkpatrick, founder of PediaPlex, is opening a new facility in Alliance/Ft. Worth area. The new facility is scheduled for a Grand Opening in October of 2018, expanding patient access. Driven by the amazing success and support in Southlake she is excited to offer the same comprehensive autism therapy and diagnostic options and services to families in the quickly-expanding Alliance area.

PediaPlex has been caring for children in and around Southlake for over 6 years and is one of the only truly collaborative ASD care centers in the country that engages with local schools and universities, along with maintaining a high level of visibility in the community. The center offers complete therapy options including ABA Therapy, Play Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy. In recent years several PediaPlex therapists have been named “DFW Mom Approved” in recognition of their amazing care.

Recent figures tell us that 1 in 59 children in the US will be diagnosed on the autism spectrum in 2018, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. That is a 15% increase from data compiled just several years earlier. Because of this trend, as well as her own personal challenges as the mother of an autistic child, Sonia seeks to expand the services of PediaPlex to as many North Texas families as possible. “We are growing our PediaPlex family into the Alliance community with the goal to help as many ASD children reach their best potential!”, says founder Sonia Kirkpatrick.
