Ahead of the launch of its new custom heating element, Rama Corporation is making public with the release of the Cartridge heater design named the RamaRod. Originally released many years ago, this long time manufacturing company has been around since 1947, which fans and consumers within the manufacturing will know them by.

The inception of creating cartridge heaters came about after Rama’s custom heating elements became largely popular. RamaRod was born and jump started the custom cartridge heating elements to fulfill customer orders. Rama Corporation has over 16 different models of cartridge heaters currently being developed ranging from Type A through Type U all with their own custom specifications and features. Types A, B and C have been found to be acceptable under UL and c-UL (CSA equivalent) Component Recognition Program File No. E119533. Rama is consistently having new breakthroughs in the industry of heating elements and strive to meet all of their customers requirements in custom heating orders.

The RamaRod features include:

Multicircuits: 3/4″ diameter RAMARODs can be provided with independent heat zones thru multicircuit or 3 phase resistance wire

Profiled Heat: RAMAROD and EDM heaters can be manufactured with a shaped profile heat distribution to balance out heat applied along the length of the heater.

Thermostats: Various thermostats meeting different sensitivities

Moisture Resistant Barriers: In addition to the Teflon seal type heaters, which will withstand operating temperatures up to 300°F

Other Accessories: Cartridge heaters can be supplied with grounded, twist-lock as well as UL-listed, dead front

Metric size heaters: RAMA manufactures metric dimension cartridge heaters for customers with this requirement.
