Essex, England, United Kingdom – October 5, 2023 —
WFP Fire, Security & Electrical is proud to announce that one of the members of their team of electricians, Samuel Eggby, has been recognised as a top “30 under 30” electrician. Awarded by eFIXX and Luceco, this award is given to young adults powering the future of the electrical industry.
People in the industry have the opportunity to nominate their colleagues each year, or people can also choose to nominate themselves. A team of judges from the industry then selects 30 people to be included in their list, with awards presented in a ceremony once recipients have been chosen. The awards also include recognition of businesses and educators in the electrical industry.
Samuel said that he was very pleased with the recognition that comes with winning the 30 under 30 eFIXX and Luceco award and proud to have his commitment and hard work recognised by the discerning judges from eFIXX. The award is recognition for never having given up and commitment to reaching his goals. Samuel has had a long journey in finding his place in the industry, initially being made redundant twice before finding his home with WFP Fire, Security & Electrical. During his time with the company, he has completed his apprenticeship and benefited from the education and support required to become a fully qualified electrician. He has also learned key fire and security skills, adding to his knowledge and skill set for a bright future.
WFP Fire, Security & Electrical owner Paul Field said, “I believe it’s our duty to invest in the next generation coming into the industry. Sam being recognised underlines reaffirms our commitment in investing in our people.”
The awards for 2023 took place at Drayton Manor in Staffordshire. The event was held to celebrate the winners and was organised by the industry educator eFIXX, with sponsorship from the electrical industry leader Luceco Group. There were many submissions for the judges to work through, but they completed the tough job of choosing just 30 young adults that have demonstrated talent and drive in the industry. The winners all received a trophy in recognition of their award and the hard work that they put in to be worthy of receiving it.
