Scooter’s Coffee Expands Reach in Des Moines Metro; National Coffee Franchise Opens New Location in Urbandale

URBANDALE, IA / ACCESSWIRE / February 6, 2017 / Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, will increase its Iowa presence with the company’s latest Grand Opening in Urbandale, IA (10155 Hickman Road) on Friday, February 10. To celebrate the opening, the new location will offer half off drinks all day (Excluding Vertigo Smoothies).

“We have been tremendously fortunate with the growth of our brand in the Des Moines area,” said Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “This location is a perfect example of the incredible support we have received within the community.”

On February 10, Grand Opening Day, customers can also expect to receive several fun giveaways; beginning at 9 a.m., the first 100 customers will receive a t-shirt or coffee mug. For the afternoon crowd, starting at 2 p.m., the first 100 customers will receive a $5 gift card.

In celebration of this new store opening, the location will also treat guests to Half Off Drinks from 4pm-close the week following the festive Grand Opening event on February 10. The Happy Hour event will take place February 13 – February 17 from 4pm to 7pm.

Brothers Stephen and David Froscheiser will own this location. Their focus has primarily been on the Des Moines/Ames metropolitan area. “The whole state of Iowa represents an enormous opportunity,” said David. “There are so many communities that have the vibrancy and the population it takes for our businesses grow and thrive.”

Scooter’s Coffee is quickly approaching 200 locations in 15 states. It opened 33 new locations in 2016 and plans similar expansion in 2017.
