Selloscope Relaunches Recommendation Engine for Shopping Ideas, Price Comparison and Product Research

Selloscope has recently relaunched its recommendation engine to provide shoppers with ideas, price comparison and research features.

Selloscope is a recommendation engine that utilises proprietary surfacing technology to help shoppers establish top selling lists across thousands of retail categories. The user simply enters a search term and will be given dozens of results based on those keywords.

Selloscope currently supports thousands of different retail categories such as electronics, accessories, accounting, clothing and furniture. Categories can be searched individually thanks to the engine’s capabilities but the user can also enter specific terms if they prefer. Once the user has found a specific category, Selloscope will list the most popular items in those categories and offer information such as the name of the product, author, price and other metadata such as page counts if it’s a book. Links are also given to store pages so that the user can immediately go to purchase those items. Pictures are also given as a preview of the items being purchased so that the user knows what they’ve searched for.

Selloscope is designed to offer shopping ideas to consumers as well as provide price comparison information in a convenient interface through a single search.
