Sheila Tolbert Ministries, Inc. Launches The Jesus Girls Rock Awards To Celebrate Christian Women Leaders Within The Non-Profit Sector

501c3 non-profit organization, Sheila Tolbert Ministries, Inc., announces the launch of the Jesus Girls Rock Awards, an initiative to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of remarkable Christian women leaders from all walks of life

Sheila Tolbert Ministries, Inc. is reiterating their goal of positively impacting the lives of as many people as possible and encouraging well-meaning individuals to contribute to the cause with the launch of the Jesus Girls Rock Awards. The maiden event of the awards will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, as the organization seeks to honor Christian women who have demonstrated God’s love and made an impact within their communities.

The position of women in society cannot be overemphasized and some individuals have taken it upon themselves to go the extra mile to make the lives of others better, staying true to the essence of Christendom. According to the Network For Good organization, women make up 73% of the nonprofit workforce in the United States. A Guidestar’s 2018 Nonprofit Compensation Report also revealed that more women are leading smaller organizations rather than the larger ones. However, the efforts of such women do not get the recognition they deserve, which is where Sheila Tolbert Ministries, Inc. is looking to change the narrative with the launch of the Jesus Girls Rock Awards.

The annual awards program will honor, empower, inspire, celebrate, and recognize women CEO’s in the non-profit sector within the U.S, focusing on four areas – domestic violence, world hunger, human trafficking, and homelessness. It will also help in elevating the visibility of women leaders who are CEOs through their participation in the Jesus Girls Rock Awards Show. In addition to honoring exceptional women, a scholarship will be presented at the Awards event to a female college student pursuing a degree in an area related to the field of non-profit management.

The website for the Jesus Girls Rock Awards will be officially launched in June 2021, along with the acceptance of nominations.
