On the 29th September, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, led by Chairman Lee Man-hee), held the ‘2024 Shincheonji Fulfillment of Revelation’s Realities Testimony Word Conference’ at the Busan Andrew Training Centre. Over 70,000 people attended the event, including more than 100 pastors.

Chairman Lee Man-hee, the keynote speaker, emphasised the importance of the Book of Revelation, stating, “Faith must be based on the Bible. We must understand the true meaning of the Word and be recreated according to it.”

He further added, “The sure evidence to verify the accuracy of this Word is the ‘reality’. We must examine whether the prophecies have actually been fulfilled, and if they have, we must realise it and believe. Revelation is prophesied to be fulfilled at the appointed time. Therefore, we must examine if we are able to enter the promised salvation when these prophecies come to pass.”

A pastor from an independent denomination, who attended the event, shared his thoughts, saying, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus continues to grow remarkably, even as the Protestant community faces decline. As I study the revealed Word, I see potential and hope.”

A Presbyterian pastor expressed a similar sentiment: “Through this Word Conference, I feel a renewed desire to learn more, and I hope that more pastors can experience this rekindled passion as I have.”

A representative of Shincheonji Church of Jesus commented, “We see this conference as an opportunity to foster more exchanges with pastors. By communicating and uniting based on the Bible, we hope to bring harmony not only within the religious community but also to have a positive impact on society as a whole.”

The vibrant atmosphere of the Word Conference was enhanced by various promotional activities held across the nation, especially in Busan. On the day of the event, traditional performances and military band parades were held in downtown Busan, offering entertainment to citizens and increasing interest in the event.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus also livestreamed the Busan Word Conference on YouTube, garnering over 73,300 views.

One local citizen remarked, “It’s amazing to see so many people gather with one heart in a church setting. The positive attitude and organisation of the people, including the cleanliness of waste management, left a good impression.”
