TemplateTo upgrades its service with new features, including custom font and cover page support

TemplateTo expects the new features to improve the app’s ability to generate formal documents and reflect organisational branding.

United Kingdom – April 9, 2024

Technology firm TemplateTo has added new features to its document generation app, including custom fonts, cover page support, and upgraded N8N/Zapier integration. These additions enable users to create sophisticated documents without coding or development skills.

TemplateTo lets users turn raw data into .pdf and .txt files, which they can share. The new features, the brand says, will improve the experience, enabling greater flexibility and relevance.

“We’re excited to introduce these new features to TemplateTo, our powerful document automation technology,” co-founder and CEO David McLean says. “With new customisations, companies can get outputs that work better with their existing technology stack and align more with their internal documentation standards.”

For example, new custom fonts will allow organisations to generate documents that better reflect their branding. TemplateTo enables them to copy their existing typeface using the tool (instead of editing it afterwards).

The company is also including more cover page support. The new feature will enable different headers, footers or margins on the front pages of formal documents.

“If users need a cover page for their documents, TemplateTo now has them covered,” McLean says. “Any changes they make will only apply to the cover page, not the other pages in the document, giving them more flexibility to present data in the way they want.”

The final addition is upgraded N8N/Zapier integrations. This feature will allow users to connect to more external data sources, such as CRMs, databases and web services. Documents will benefit from enhanced richness, giving a more comprehensive representation of inputted data.

TemplateTo is keen to emphasise that these changes don’t undermine the user-friendliness that made the app successful. It maintains a similar style to reduce the learning curve.

“Everything is still there, from our no-code-friendly templates to our drag-and-drop builder,” McLean says. “The new features add functionality, but not bloat, keeping everything as simple as possible.”

TemplateTo is free to use for the first seven days. After that, users can upgrade to various packages, starting from £7 a month. Enterprise-level subscriptions allow up to 70,000 document generations per month, with over fifty custom fonts and 3,000 reusable content blocks.
