TheWoofBook.com Celebrates National Eskimo Dog Day

January 15, 2020 – – As part of their ongoing promise to spotlight each of the AKC recognized breeds, TheWoofBook.com announces January 15th as National American Eskimo Dog Day.
Playful, alert and smart, with their “smiling” faces, the American Eskimo Dog is a beautiful dog and nearly always draws looks of admiration from other dog owners. When grown, this fun breed weighs from six pounds all the way to thirty-five pounds and can range from nine to nineteen inches at the shoulder.

Breed Ambassador for TheWoofBook.com Mallory Lahkota explains, “Most people don’t realize the American Eskimo Dog comes in three sizes: Toy, Miniature and Standard, just like their poodle brethern.”

“Eskies” as they are called, are generally very friendly dogs and make good family pets. They are very clever and are especially good with children.

The American Eskimo Dog breed, along with all the dog breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club, has its own group at TheWoofBook.com. American Eskimo Dog owners and lovers can join this group or dog groups of their choice by going to https://thewoofbook.com/groups/AmericanEskimoDogs.
