Wi2Wi Announces New SM Series of Military Style Packaging

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / January 4, 2016 / Wi2Wi Corporation (“Wi2Wi” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the release of its new Surface Mount (“SM”) series of military style packaging for the Lumped Crystal Filter family of products. SM is a method for producing electronic circuits in which the components are mounted or placed directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards, which allows the components to be miniaturized. The Company’s Lumped Crystal filters can be used in ground-based radar, airborne radar systems, airborne vehicle systems satellite systems radio receivers, and down-hole systems. The SM series of military style packaging addresses the growing demand for high performance products in avionics, space, industrial and military markets.

The Company’s unique design and manufacturing technology in such packaging enables the rugged and reliable SM series to withstand high shock and vibration, and extreme temperature ranges required in the military, avionics, space and medical applications such as radar, industrial radios Magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy Its hermetically sealed internal construction has undergone rigorous environmental testing in the Company’s DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) certified laboratory, ensuring that the SM series will perform well and exceed the industry requirements. The SM series is available in three unique footprints.
