Bethesda, United States – November 9, 2018 /PressCable/ —
Breaking News: WilMac Properties – Realtor announcing they are using new technology in Real Estate Marketing, a Progressive Web App.
Now there are real estate agents, and then there are Real Estate Agents! Any competitive advantage that helps one stand out from the “me too” crowd is worth noticing and implementing. One such advantage is a Progressive Web Apps.
We learned that Wilma Rochelle McFadden of WilMac Properties recently began exploring the emerging world of Progressive Web Apps. We wanted to inform you, our reader, about why she decided on this technology – that is one of the purposes of this press release. The other purpose of this announcement is to help educate business owners about how PWA’s are different than traditional native apps.
Wilma Rochelle McFadden said, “I am on the cutting edge of technology with Progressive Web Apps”.
The App World is about to change big-time! Thanks to some recent cutting-edge advancements in browser and mobile device functionality (not to mention a lot of banner-waving by Google), a new crop of web apps called progressive web applications (also known as PWAs) are quickly blurring the line between web and native—and they’re poised to have a profound impact on the web and mobile landscapes as we know them.
It’s the end of the (app) world as we know it; Native Apps are going out, Progressive Web Apps are going tp be replacing them.
iPhone developers were quick to criticize Apple’s original web-only app strategy. Sure, it was possible to save a link to a web page on your home screen (using a relatively buried setting in Safari). Historically, native apps have had substantial advantages over browser-based web apps, including better access to device hardware, higher perceived performance, offline capabilities, notifications, and discoverability via dedicated app stores.
Progressive web apps are different. Much like the “responsive design” revolution, a PWA is not a single technology, but rather an umbrella term for a number of cutting-edge web technologies and best practices that can be used to make a website or web app feel as fast and as functional as its native-app counterparts.
In a lot of cases, progressive web apps aren’t “just as good” as native; they’re better. Because PWAs are built on the same HTML/CSS/JavaScript platform as a regular website, it’s entirely possible to create a full-featured app without the need for dedicated Android or iOS developers (or the substantial costs that come with building and supporting multiple native codebases). There’s also no app store overhead or approval process waiting games since the installation of a PWA is as simple as choosing “Save to Home Screen” from your browser.
With progressive web apps, it’s entirely possible to create full-featured apps without the need for dedicated Android or iOS developers.
Don’t limit thinking PWA’s to just mobile devices, either. A PWA can be installed as a Chrome Web App in the desktop Chrome browser. And soon, high-quality PWAs will be indexed and included in the Microsoft Store alongside native Windows 10 applications, a clear indication of how much PWAs are changing the application landscape as a whole.
Progressive Web Apps make sense for real estate professionals.
Every Reale Estate Company is looking to grow the firm and attract new customers, while offering exclusive perks to loyal clients.
A mobile progressive web app (PWA) does both and more.
There are many perks to having a PWA for those in real estate. For starters, having a mobile app can greatly improve customer service and communications for a real estate business. The phone number, address and email will be right at the fingertips of interested clients, and they’ll be able to reach the company at the touch of a button. Realtors need to be easily accessible, and with a mobile app, they always right there.
With younger clients looking to get into the housing market, every real estate professional will want to evolve their business to cater to them. Younger customers are more likely to use smart phones and utilize mobile apps. Having this marketing tool is a strategy that will really help you bring in young business and stay relevant to the ever changing market.
Business Owners can also enable push notifications, which will alert clients as they travel to certain areas about local real estate they may be interested in. One can choose any location, and send all sorts of messages, including reminders, promotions, incentives, and more.
Wilma Rochelle McFadden went on to say,” I’d like to say a special thanks to Online Review Machine”.
